Application Layer

The Application Layer contains the TCP and UDP applications which are ports to the underlying UDP and TCP protocols. When you add a TCP or UDP port to the EZ Stack, this is where it resides. The EZ Stack™ standard applications are:

Echo	UDP/TCP	7	Echoes back received data.
Daytime	UDP/TCP	13	Returns the time of Day
HTTP	TCP	80	The web server port
TELNET	TCP	23	Virtual terminal service
TFTP	UDP	69	Trivial File Transfer Protocol
DHCP	UDP	68	Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol client

With EZ Stack Configurator, you select which built-in applications to include in your project and define your custom UDP and TCP ports. The Configurator will generate templates for each of your custom ports. The templates include a robust hardened sample application.
