Physical Layer

The Physical Layer contains all of the hardware and cabling involved in building the physical network.

At the physical layer, TCP/IP doesn't define any specific protocols. This, however, is where the TCP/IP stack meets the eZ80F91 Microcontroller. EZ Stack™ Protocol Suite makes efficient use of the eZ80F91 Microcontroller module's 8K of Ethernet Frame Buffer, 8K of SRAM, and 256K of flash memory to transmit a bitstream through the RJ45 connector over your network. You can easily and quickly configure the EZ Stack™ Protocol Suite to match your hardware, ROM, RAM and network addresses.
